Terms and conditions
Version 2 · updated Thu 8 Oct 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to every ticket and registration bought on nexteventsbd.com . Please read them before you buy. By completing a registration you agree to them.
1. Who we are
The website is operated by The World Challenger (TWC), 1/36, Level 1, Eastern Banabithi Shopping Complex, Banasree, Dhaka, Bangladesh, trade licence TRAD/DSCC/005543/2026. NEXTEVENTSBD is a sister concern of The World Challenger (TWC). Each event page names the organiser of that event; where it names another organiser, that organiser is responsible for running the event and we sell tickets and registrations on their behalf.
2. Who can buy
You must be at least 18 years old to buy. A child under 18 (on the day of the event) is registered by their parent or legal guardian, who buys on the child's behalf, gives the guardian consent the event asks for, and is responsible for the child at the event.
3. One person per registration
Every order is for one person. If you register for yourself, you must be that person; if you register a child, the child is the participant and you are the buyer and contact. One mobile number and one email address can be used for one registration per event (a guardian may use their own contact for each of their children). You must give true, complete and current details. We may cancel a registration that breaks these rules or uses false details.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and are shown before you pay. We do not add a payment surcharge. Payment is made through bKash. When you start a registration, your place is held for 15 minutes; if payment is not completed in that time, the place is released.
Your registration is confirmed only when bKash confirms the payment to us directly. Being sent back to the website, or a message on your phone, is not by itself a confirmation. If bKash confirms a payment after your hold expired, we confirm your registration if places are still available; if the event is sold out by then, we refund the full amount automatically. If you are charged twice for the same order, the extra payment is refunded automatically.
5. Your ticket
After payment you receive your ticket with a QR code by email (and by SMS where available), and you can see it any time in My tickets. A ticket is personal to the participant named on it. Each QR code can be checked in once: the first scan is accepted and any later scan of the same code is refused, so do not share your ticket or post it online. If we reissue a ticket (for example after a name correction), the old QR code stops working.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Tickets and registration fees are non-refundable, except: - when the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, in which case you receive a refund of the ticket price; - when the organiser decides to offer refunds in other circumstances; - for technical errors on our side, such as a payment taken after a sold-out event or a duplicate payment, which are refunded in full.
Not attending, changing your mind, or changes to the programme, performers, speakers, route or schedule do not give a right to a refund. If an event is postponed, your ticket stays valid for the new date unless we announce otherwise.
Refunds are paid back to the bKash account used for the payment, usually within 2 working days after we approve them; the time it takes to appear can depend on bKash. Any amount bKash keeps as its fee is paid by us, not deducted from your refund.
7. Changes and transfers
You can ask for a name correction, a transfer to another person, or a cancellation through My tickets ("Need a change?") or by contacting us. Requests are reviewed by the organiser and are not guaranteed. Transfers are only valid when the organiser approves them and a new ticket is issued; tickets passed on in any other way may be refused at entry.
8. Resale
Tickets may not be resold for profit, offered as prizes, or used for advertising without our written permission. We may cancel tickets bought for resale, bought with automated tools, or bought in breach of these terms, and refuse entry to their holders.
9. Changes to an event
We or the organiser may change the date, time, venue, programme or format of an event when necessary, including for safety, weather, security, instructions from the authorities or reasons beyond our control. We will tell registered participants by email or SMS and on the event page.
10. At the event
Bring your ticket (on your phone or printed). You may be asked for identification and to go through security checks. Follow the instructions of staff, volunteers, security and officials. We or the organiser may refuse entry or remove anyone who behaves unsafely or unlawfully, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, carries prohibited items, or breaks the event rules; no refund is given in that case. Look after your own belongings; we are not responsible for items that are lost or stolen.
11. Photos, video and results
Events may be photographed and filmed, and you may appear in pictures or video that we, the organiser, our sister concern The World Challenger (TWC) and event sponsors publish to report on and promote the event. For races, results (your registered name, BIB number, category and time) are published on the website.
12. Races and sports events
Races and other physical events have their own Participant Waiver, which you accept when you register. Read it before registering; it forms part of these terms.
13. My tickets
You sign in to My tickets with a one-time link sent to your email or a code sent to your mobile. Keep access to your email and phone secure. If you choose "Keep me signed in on this device", do not do so on a shared or public device.
14. Using the website
Do not misuse the website, including by using bots or scripts to buy, trying to get around limits or security checks, or interfering with other people's purchases. All content on the website belongs to us or our licensors.
15. Our responsibility
We take reasonable care in running the website and our events. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for a ticket is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Bangladesh.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your registration is the one shown when you registered; the version number is recorded with your order.
17. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us, it will be decided by the courts of Dhaka.
18. Contact
Questions or complaints: email worldchallenger.events@gmail.com, call +880 1886-693456 or +880 1316-110209, or use the Contact page on the website.
